Help Grem Get Better!

Hi my name is Chloe and the fluffy boy you all know and love is Gremlin.

Gremlin is the best little boy, so when I noticed yellow discolouration on his tongue, and it came to the decision of taking him to the vet, getting blood tests, pee tests, ultrasounds, fluids, medications and everything else he needed to get well, it was a no brainer.

He has been diagnosed with Triadistis, caused by Hepatitis - inflammation of the liver primarily, but due to cats anatomy, this can also cause inflammation in other areas (for Grem this showed up in his pancreas and gallbladder).

Vets are, generally speaking, uncertain of the causes of this, but it can be bacterial or something they are genetically predisposed to. Untreated it is often fatal.

He will likely need further care, but for now he is stable which is a huge relief.

I am a musician and I had been saving like a lunatic this past year to afford everything for my album launch which is due to happen in Feb, but as of this last week, all that money has gone to Gremlin's medical care. It's also going to be tricky if any big future medical expenses come up.

The support from everyone so far has been really amazing through this heart-wrenchingly stressful time.
