I didn’t want to have to do this, but right now I’m out of options.

My car — the one thing I rely on for everything — has completely broken down with a transmission issue. The repair cost is between $4,000 and $6,000, and without it, I don’t have a way to keep up with life. Getting to where I need to be, handling responsibilities, even basic day-to-day things have suddenly become overwhelming.

But what makes this even harder is that I’m not just trying to take care of myself.

Right now, both of my siblings depend on me.

My sister is in the middle of a serious mental health battle and is trying to get approved for disability. She’s doing her best, but she needs support, stability, and a place where she can feel safe — and that’s what I’ve been trying to provide.

My little brother is also living with me. He’s dealing with a leg injury that has him going in and out of the hospital, and he’s also struggling with alcohol abuse. Some days are harder than others, but I’m doing everything I can to keep him going and help him get through this.

I’ve been carrying all of this on my own for as long as I could.

Now with my car down and bills starting to pile up, I’m at a breaking point. I’m trying to stay strong for them, but the truth is — I can’t do this alone anymore.

This isn’t about anything extra. This is about:

• Fixing my car so I can keep everything running

• Staying on top of essential bills

• Keeping a roof, stability, and support for my family

I’m asking for help so I don’t lose the ability to hold everything together.
