Hurricane Melissa Relief: Help My Family in Granville, Trelawny Rebuild
Hurricane Melissa has left my family and our entire community in Trelawny, Jamaica, facing an unimaginable crisis. What was once our vibrant neighborhood is now a landscape of destruction—fallen trees blocking every road, power lines down everywhere, and homes severely damaged. The roads remain completely impassable. Power infrastructure is destroyed. Basic services we relied on are gone. But my family’s spirit isn’t broken; they’re determined to rebuild, not just for themselves, but to help restore our entire community.
Our Urgent Needs:
Food supplies (local stores are closed and supply chains disrupted)
Medical supplies (healthcare facilities are inaccessible)
Generator (essential for power, food preservation, and medical equipment)
Power saw (to clear fallen trees and access our property for repairs)
How Your Donation Helps:
Every dollar goes directly to purchasing the essential supplies and equipment needed for immediate survival and long-term recovery. Whether it’s putting food on the table, powering critical medical equipment, or clearing the path to begin repairs, your generosity creates an immediate, tangible impact.
No contribution is too small. Together, we can help my family and the people of Trelawny rise from this devastation stronger than before.
100% of funds will be used transparently for stated relief and rebuilding efforts.
Thank you for standing with us during our darkest hour.
Gregory Barnett.
