Gregor came into our lives as a foster after being suddenly separated from his previous home. He was already 10 years old when we met him in October 2023, and he quickly became a beloved member of our family. Gregor is now almost 12, and anyone who meets him falls in love with his friendly spirit. He’s the unofficial greeter of Crown Hill Park, always eager to meet new people and spread joy on his walks.
Last year, we noticed Gregor wasn’t feeling well and took him to the doctor, who found his calcium levels were high but couldn’t determine the cause. In early March, Gregor became lethargic, and after more tests, we learned he has cancer. His best chance at recovery is radiation therapy at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Colorado, which comes with a significant cost.
The funds raised will go directly toward Gregor’s radiation therapy and aftercare. If we’re fortunate enough to raise more than we need, we’ll donate the extra to Foothills Animal Shelter to help other animals in need. Any support—whether it’s a donation, sharing Gregor’s story, or sending good thoughts—means the world to us. I want to give Gregor the best chance to stay with us as long as possible. Thank you for helping us give our wonderful friend the care he deserves.
