Help - Single Father of 3 Needs Urgent Surgery—Please Help Gregg
Hello, my name is Gregg “SUGAR” Wynne.
I’ve been living with Type 1 diabetes for 47 years. Over the years, I’ve faced many challenges that come with this disease, but recently my situation has become much more serious.
I am now experiencing extreme, constant pain in my left foot diagnosed as PAD (peripheral artery disease)—so severe that I can no longer sleep through the night. After medical evaluation, I’ve been told I urgently need a procedure called an EV Angiogram to determine the cause and prevent further complications. Without this procedure, there is a very real risk that my condition could worsen to the point of amputation.
Unfortunately, the cost of this procedure is far beyond what I can afford.
I’m already carrying medical debt from a previous diabetic emergency where I had to be airlifted for urgent care, and I am still making payments on that. On top of that, I’m doing my best to support my family on a limited income.
Recently, our situation became even more difficult. Due to severe mold contamination in our home, we lost nearly all of our belongings—including clothing and essential items—which has created an unexpected and overwhelming financial hardship.
I am a single parent raising three children, one of whom is currently in college, and I am doing everything I can to keep us afloat during this incredibly challenging time.
At this point, I simply don’t have the financial ability to cover this urgent procedure or take on additional monthly payments.
I’m reaching out with humility and hope, asking for any support you can give. No amount is too small, and even sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to me and my family.
Your help could make it possible for me to get the care I need, relieve this pain, avoid losing my foot, and continue being there for my children.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer.
