After 25 years of dedicated service to his employer, my husband, Greg Williams, was unexpectedly laid off. Less than two months later, our world was turned upside down, when Greg was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, stage four metastatic cholangiocarcinoma with extensive metastasis. The news hit us like a freight train. Numerous sonograms, PET scans, and MRI studies confirmed the diagnosis, revealing not only cancer in his bile duct but also a tumor in his lung, more cancer in his gall bladder, and finally, bone cancer.
Greg is receiving exceptional care from his primary doctor, his oncologist, and the highly reputable, nationally renowned City of Hope. Each day brings mounting medical bills. With ongoing treatments, imaging studies, medications, and the necessary travel to the City of Hope, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We lost Greg's income when he was laid off, and now we're facing expenses we never anticipated.
Your donation will directly help with life-saving cancer treatments, medical bills and medications, travel expenses to and from City of Hope, and accommodations during treatment. Greg and I both believe that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is hope, power, love, and grace. Your generosity will give my husband a fighting chance to extend his life and spend precious time with his family. No amount is too small—every donation brings us one step closer to managing this financial crisis while Greg focuses on what matters most: fighting for his life. If you are unable to give monetarily, we ask that you keep us in your prayers. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, prayers, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
