Hi there everybody, never wanted to do this, and feel real weird!

Our sweet little boy, Greg the cat, had a bit of a medical emergency this week! I always thought if you had trouble peeing, ehhh it’d go away or you’d get some antibiotics. Apparently this can be a disaster for cats (their bladders can explode??), and so we had to take him on a whirlwind tour of the veterinary world - from x-rays, to emergency room veterinarians, and now on to surgery. And then probably soon onto a fancy boy diet. It’s an ongoing situation, and it’s already dug us into an unexpected, but fairly substantial, financial hole.

There are plenty of other things to give to right now, with time or money - people are cut off SNAP for christ’s sake. We’re sliding headlong into fascism and there are people everywhere getting crushed under the wheel.

But there’s also Greg! Gerg, geggo, greggy, he goes by many names. He is exceptionally sweet, and loving, and exceptionally loved. If you have known him, you know who he is, and you know what he means to us.

If you can spare a dime, a nickel, a grand if you’re feeling flush, what have you, it would be endlessly appreciated, and we will consider making Greg tote bags as a thank you when the financial hit has been recovered from.

If it sweetens the deal and you wanna feel extra good about it - one solution to the medical situation was to “make Greg a girl” to widen his urethra. You could be giving to Greg’s gender-affirming care if it comes to it!!

Ultimately, thank you for taking the time to look at this. I hope your sweet cuddly friends stay in the best of health, and the same goes for you too.

Also, it’s been pointed out to me that GoFundMe is adjusting our goal incrementally automatically - the total cost of this all was something like $7000. We definitely wouldn’t ask for that. But it is staggering the “goal” for some reason, and I don’t know how to change it.
