Help Greg Take a Bite out of the Big Apple
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jennifer Groff, and I'm starting a fundraiser for my friend Greg Summerall. He is a household name in our community theatre family. Greg has been involved in theatre since 1985. He donned the stage for the first time as Dr. Kirkland in the Night of January 16th at Brandon High School. He got the bug and hasn't stopped since.
Greg has participated in many aspects of entertainment, acting, directing, stage managing, hosting award ceremonies, and everything in between including seats on various community theatre boards. He has served his community well and left a lasting legacy.
Greg's passion for performing arts has led him to pursue his dream of making it in The Big Apple. His first attempt was in 2002 when he was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His pursuits were waylaid by 911. 20 years later, the dream had not died, and neither had, he so he knew he had to move forward. He left again for New York City, NY in June 2023. His attempts at obtaining employment were stymied because of his appearance.
Greg is in need of major dental reconstruction. He cannot take a bite out of The Big Apple without a million-dollar smile. Greg's dental bill itself at minimum is $50,000 for full dental implants. Additional reconstructive work and grafting for bone and gums may be required.
Because this man is priceless to many, I am asking you to find some compassion in your hearts for an artist's desire to fulfill his purpose. Let's come together as a community in support of one of our own. Dreams can come true, but sometimes it takes many to make them happen.
