My name is Greg Simms, and I’ve always been a happy person who tries to see the good in every situation. Life recently threw me a curveball when I contracted a rare disease called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) after receiving the COVID shot in April 2021. Since then, GBS has slowly spread throughout my body, damaging my nervous and immune systems. Despite these challenges, I do my best to keep my spirits up and stay positive.
This journey has been incredibly tough. I’ve spent a year and a half in the hospital, working hard every day to regain my strength and mobility. The medical bills have piled up, and my credit card debt has grown as I try to manage expenses. I’m determined to get out of the hospital and walk again with the help of a walker, but I need a little extra support to make that possible.
I’m reaching out for help so I can get back on my feet and move forward with my life. If you can find it in your heart to support me, I would be deeply grateful. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference in my recovery. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
