I'm only 34 and recently had a major back surgery on my spine, which has put me out of work for several months. The recovery process has been challenging, and it has left me unable to keep up with my rent, car payments, utilities, and mounting medical bills. Every day has been a struggle as I try to focus on healing while worrying about how to keep a roof over my head and the lights on.

The funds raised here will go directly to my landlord to help with overdue rent, to the utility company so I can keep my power on, and to my medical provider and pharmacy for the medicine and procedures that are essential for my recovery. These expenses have piled up quickly, and I am doing everything I can to manage, but it’s become overwhelming.

I’m really stuck in a hard place until I’m able to get back on my feet. Along with everything else, I am trying to support my girlfriend and her 9-year-old daughter.
