“Help End My Seizures and Give Me a Chance to Regain a Happy Productive Life”

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

My Situation - Since July 2022, my life has been overshadowed by violent seizures that have left me feeling trapped in a cycle of fear and uncertainty. Each seizure is terrifying. I wake up confused, disoriented, and unable to recognize myself or those around me. These episodes are not only life-threatening but have also taken away my independence, my sense of security, and so much of what I love about life. In addition my broken leg is keeping me from odd jobs and basic daily activites.

Despite trying multiple treatments, progress has been painfully slow. The medications meant to help me come with debilitating side effects, leaving me feeling suicidal, aggressive, cognitively impaired, and functioning abnormally. CBD has been my most successful tool but is not 100% effective.

In addition to the seizures themselves, my condition has made everyday life a challenge:

• I can no longer drive or work in my usual capacity.

• I’ve sustained serious injuries, including broken bones, pulled muscles, whiplash, stitches, and chipped teeth.

• I live in constant fear of having an episode in public, at home, or worse.

• I must be supervised in water and other potentially dangerous situations.

• My first confirmed seizure was on a roof while at work.

Possible Treatments - My neurologists are now recommending inpatient care to explore brain surgery (a partial lobectomy) to remove the small part of my brain causing these seizures. While I’m open to this possibility, I want to exhaust every alternative treatment first as surgery has a variable success rate and a lot of potential complications.

I’ve tested positive for mycotoxins, tick-borne infections, and man-made chemicals, pesticides, and environmental toxins that are all possible causes of my seizures. I plan to explore non-surgical treatment options first. Unfortunately, most of these treatments and specialists are expensive, and testing, transportation, and daily living expenses have drained my savings and strained my credit. I have already cashed out my retirement and am selling everything I can.
