Help Greg Manuel Through Medical and Family Struggles

One of my best friends, Greg Manuel, has been having an extremely rough year. He works full time and spends much of his free time caring for his parents, who suffer from various health issues. Sadly, on August 7th of 2024, those issues became too overwhelming for his mother, Linda, and she went home to be with her heavenly father. While his dad, Sammy, is still fighting the good fight (despite many setbacks), living alone without his significant other was too much to bear. Hence, he has moved in with Greg in order to be closer with one of his few remaining family members.

Were these the only peaks Greg had to scale this year, he would gladly grin and bear it. Unfortunately, he has been cursed with his own medical issues that have forced him out of work for an unknown period of time. His physicians are narrowing the diagnosis' down between Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis, but the tests take time and treatment takes even longer. In the meantime, Greg has only his parents social security to help cover bills and all of the other necessities that come along with managing a household.

He has been fortunate to have friends and family who have already reached out to give assistance in his time of need. However, he's got a long road ahead and none of us have unlimited time or resources. Sometimes it takes a village. So, I'm appealing to the village to step forward and do whatever you can to help my friend in his time of need. With the many times he's been there for myself and others, I feel the least we can do his be here for him.
