Help Greg and Nichole: Colton's Urgent Need
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 28, my brother's 9 year-old son, Colton, woke from his sleep screaming in pain from a headache. Things progressed quickly, EMS was called, and Colton was taken via ambulance to a nearby hospital. A CT scan revealed Colton had a serious brain bleed. The situation was dire and they did not have the resources to treat him at this hospital, so Colton was urgently life-flighted via helicopter to Boston Children's Hospital. There, Colton was diagnosed with a ruptured arteriovenous malformation in his brain, which is life threatening. Since then, Colton has been on life support and under constant sedation, with an endotracheal tube, PEG tube, PICC line, and a host of other medical intervention. This is an absolutely devastating situation for my brother Greg, his wife Nichole, and their daughter, Noelle. At this point they do not know the outcome. Neurosurgeons are waiting to perform additional tests to pinpoint the exact location and size of the malformation, once they feel comfortable decreasing Colton's sedation level. Colton is a sweet, loving, funny young boy who is a compete joy to be around. Greg and Nicole are facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical costs for Colton's care; would you please consider donating to help? If you cannot give monetarily, we are begging for prayers.
