After nearly forty-two years in California (the last eighteen of which in the Sacramento region), almost a decade of unemployment, and a complete career change, I was finally able to secure a job in care giving, in Aberdeen, Washington, beginning Monday, 04 August.

I am raising funds for moving and transport costs for me and my dog "Junior," as I hope this will be my last major move. Funds raised include: labour (as I do not drive), gasoline, a temporary storage unit for when I get to Aberdeen, and a possible hotel overnight, should the driver want to break down the twelve-hour drive.
