Help Greg and Debbie Face New Challenges

Over the past several decades, many of us have been blessed to become friends with Greg and Debbie Turner. They are an incredible couple who are always looking for ways to help others in need. When they see somebody who is hurting, they respond by giving of their time, love, and financial resources. They give so much and never expect anything in return. They are truly children of God.

After many years in the golf course business, Greg was preparing for retirement. He and Debbie were so excited for the retirement years so they could spend more time with their loving children and grandchildren. Everything was coming into place, until the morning of June 21st. Greg had just purchased a new bicycle and was out for a ride when he was involved in an accident with a large SUV. Greg suffered a shattered spine, completely fractured in 4 places. The injuries left him paralyzed from the chest down.

After spending 2 weeks in the Sarasota Memorial ICU, Greg was recently transferred to the Brooks Spinal Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville. The prognosis for Greg's ability to walk again is not good. It is clear that Greg is going to need a lot of onging therapy, mobility products, access ramps, platform lifts and nursing care. Some of this will be covered by insurance, some will not. Clearly, Debbie and Greg will be facing financial challenges going forward, which is where we can help.
