On 24th February a fire broke out at the front of the property at Greenbarn which spread causing irreparable damage to the Cattery. Despite the fire services arriving within 20 minutes, issues with the local water supply that day led to the entire building being completely destroyed.

All cats and animals were safely and securely evacuated from the property without injury thanks to the emergency fire procedure/plan the Cattery has in place and the swift actions of everyone at Greenbarn. We are extremely grateful to our neighbours and local community who came to our aid to help with the transportation so all cats were immediately moved to the safety of Chestnut Cattery.

OUR GOAL WITH THIS FUNDRAISER IS TO GET GREENBARN CATTERY BACK ON ITS FEET AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN DO WHAT WE DO BEST AND LOVE DOING, WHICH IS CARING FOR OUR GREENBARN CAT FAMILY LIKE OUR OWN WHEN YOU NEED US.
