Green Thumb farms is in need of your help!
Please consider supporting our campaign to assist our farm business in acquiring a new box truck. Our reliance on this mode of transportation is crucial for delivering our produce to various clients from the Central Coast to the Bay Area. Currently, we are in dire need of a more reliable vehicle, as our existing truck has experienced frequent maintenance issues and is outdated, leading to operational delays.
Our farm team travels to the Bay Area 4-5 days a week, covering a distance of 100 miles each way. Given the significance of our truck in reaching our clientele on a daily basis, securing a dependable means of transportation is essential for sustaining our service and continuing to provide fresh produce to communities. Your support is instrumental in helping us achieve this goal.
The funds raised through this campaign will be allocated towards the purchase of a new truck, with the potential addition of a lift gate if not already included. While acquiring a new truck poses a financial challenge amidst our day-to-day expenses, your contribution will significantly aid us in reaching our objective. We are grateful for any assistance provided towards enhancing our transportation capabilities and ensuring the continuity of our farm business. For those of you who we see every week we will also be taking donations in person. A big thank you to those who have already donated and gotten us started!

UPDATE 2025
Late last year we got approval for a grant to cover some of the cost of our new box truck (hurray) however setting aside the rest of the funds we need during this time has been really tough to do. The cost of running a business with inflation has not been easy as well as right now being the slow time of the season. With your help we can get to our end goal and finally get our new truck before this summer 2025!! It’s been a process but we are moving forward.
