Hello to all our friends around the world. The years 2020 and 2021 have not been easy for any of us. The Green Banana bungalow also had hard times - especially during the destructive monsoon seasons - and that is why we are asking for your help.

GB has lost many bungalows, usable timber and much more. We built a lot of new structures from our driftwood, but many more roofs are leaking and some water pipes are broken. The Morgan (Moken) boat, which also served as the Green Banana pier, has also broken down. We brought it in for repair, but more money is also needed to complete it.

All the funds made by the family during the pandemic have gone mostly to food for our 8 person family and have not been sufficient to renovate the Resort.

So we are asking all of you now for help to get Green Banana back to its former glory so that we can continue to give you a comfortable holiday experience!

All funds raised will be used to renovate the Green Banana and, for example, to purchase new roofing, tools, wood, pipes, new pillows for the bungalows, fixing the Morgan boat, etc, and will be given to Mama of Green Banana family to manage. In addition, given our remote location, getting everything to Aow Lek will cost at minimum the gasoline for the boat.
