It's a great mystery; a generational, racial, gender sparring; a literary trouncing; and a decision that will change the life of Xan Smith forever.
SYNOPSIS
"Henry Percival is one of the white male novelists of the past century who were systematically favored over other voices in literary fiction. Black critic and essayist Xan Smith reluctantly accepts a commission to write a socio-critical exploration of the increasing irrelevance of Henry and other novelists like him. Such a book will attract only a meager audience and pay a few months’ rent. Upon meeting Henry, though, Xan learns a much more compelling story. One that will explode reality.
