Help Grayson Overcome Roommate's Damage

Hello. My name is Grayson Langemo. I am currently a college student at Umass Boston renting an apartment in Boston. My roommates and I live with another roommate who has not only refused to pay their portion of rent but has caused significant damaged to our shared space and has stolen multiples items.

I have tried to resolve this issues amicably, but my roommate has been uncooperative and even hostile at times. The financial burden has become overwhelming, as we are left to cover the full rent including their portion of it while also trying to replace the stolen and damaged items. While I was away visting my family for mother’s day, they came into my room and poured glitter all over my belongings, making an enormous mess, further adding to the damage that I will be responsible for. Their actions have not only affected our day to day living but also the ability to feel safe and comfortable in our own home.
