Help Grayson Freeman receive the surgery he needs.
The Freeman family are very dear friends of ours. Below is the story of their son
Grayson who has a urgent need to have additional surgery on both of his feet. Any
gift of any amount will be so greatly appreciated.
"Hey friends and family, as most of you know we just recently found out Grayson will need another surgery on his feet. For those who don’t know, Grayson went through many years of casting and multiple surgeries to correct a birth defect that if left untreated would have prevented him from ever walking. After a traumatic
failed attempt at correcting him locally, we were blessed to find a world
renowned Dr. who specialized in Grayson’s condition in St. Louis. This Dr. went
above and beyond to fix the mistakes that were made and gave my son the perfect little feet. With the extent of Grayson’s medical issues, we strongly believe there
is absolutely no other option but to see the same Dr. that has done every surgery on him and knows exactly how to treat his condition. Recently we found out that his surgeon no longer accepts our insurance because he relocated his practice to Florida. We looked into other insurance options but unfortunately we are unable to change our policy at this time. We contacted his surgeon and asked what the
out of pocket price would be, and at a 50% discounted rate we were told his
surgery will cost well over $10,000 for surgeon’s fees alone. In addition to this,
there will be hospital fees, anesthesia, rehab, physical therapy, and many
additional expenses. We are devastated and afraid, but with much prayer and
faith in God we are hopeful that we will be able to get our son the care he
desperately needs. With all pride set aside and our focus completely on Grayson we leave it in God’s hands and pray. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus for your
help to get our son this surgery with the surgeon who specializes in his condition and knows my son’s extensive medical history. We are praying to be able to raise
enough money to cover his surgery and other expenses so our son can have the
best chance of a normal life with no pain and discomfort. We thank you from the
bottom of our hearts in advance and continue to pray for guidance and God’s
amazing grace over our son."
