Hello, Current and Future Friends of Gravy,
Gravy is an extraordinary little pup who has captured our hearts. Born with a double cleft lip and a cleft palate, Gravy came into Ness and Nick’s lives as a foster at just five weeks old, thanks to the incredible efforts of The Milk Drunk Foundation. His journey has been one of resilience, hope, and unwavering love.
The Milk Drunk Foundation rescued Gravy, providing round-the-clock care, tube feeding, and all the necessary support to ensure he survived those critical early weeks. From the moment he entered Ness and Nick’s home, they knew Gravy was special. Despite his challenges, his spirit and love for life shone through every day.
Over the months, Gravy became an inseparable part of their family. They simply couldn't bear to let him go, and officially adopted him into their forever home.
Gravy's cleft palate poses significant challenges. He struggles with basic activities like drinking water and eating, and he's at risk of aspiration, which can lead to serious health complications like choking and infections (including pneumonia). To give Gravy the best possible quality of life—and avoid life-threatening issues—he urgently needs cleft palate surgery. This procedure will allow him to eat, drink, and play safely.
The cleft palate surgery and follow-up care will cost $4,500, but Gravy’s mom and dad will do everything they can to make it possible.
We are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and animal lovers, to help us give Gravy the life he deserves. No amount is too small, and every donation brings us one step closer to our goal. Your generosity will directly contribute to covering the costs of Gravy's surgery, medications, and follow-up care. By donating, you are not just giving money; you are giving Gravy the chance to live a full, happy, and healthy life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
