Meet Grant:

Grant is a brilliant and kind-hearted 14-year-old boy from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Despite being abandoned by his parents, he continues to shine with hope and resilience. He dreams of a brighter future—one where he can use his talents to help others and rise above his difficult beginnings.

After his parents left him, Grant was taken in by Sam, a loving family friend who refused to let him fall through the cracks. Sam, who once worked in my home, is one of the most selfless and caring people I know. She has given Grant a safe space to live, warm meals, and the motherly love he so desperately needs. But now, she needs our help.

Why We’re Raising Funds:

Sam is doing everything she can to raise Grant as her own, but she is struggling. The annual cost of Grant’s school fees is just $300, but even this is out of reach for Sam, who is already stretched thin trying to feed and care for him on a daily basis.

This campaign is not only to help cover Grant’s education until he turns 21, but also to support Sam in her efforts to raise him with dignity. The funds will ensure:

His school fees are fully covered ($2,100 total for 7 years)

Sam has financial support for his food, clothing, and basic needs

Grant can focus on learning without the fear of dropping out
