Help Grant get his dream Adaptive E-Bike

Hi, my name is Grant Armstrong. I am raising money to pay the remainder of the cost of the bike. I was given a generous donation that jump started my fundraiser. I was injured 7 months ago when I was hit by a tree. I'm now a T6 Complete Paraplegic. This bike would allow me to ride with my wife and 4 year old son.

At the time of my accident, I was working as a firefighter for Cal Fire and on a leave of absence with Medstar Ambulance. I also volunteered with my local fire department and search and rescue team. It’s been a big change going from a very active lifestyle to living in a wheelchair. I try to make the most of everyday and improve on my wheelchair skills. I have come so far in the 6 months I've been out of rehab. I am so grateful for the other Go Fund Me that was started while I was in the hospital. It has covered almost all of my medical bills.

The bike is a Bowhead Reach electric adaptive bike. The bike is capable of handling tough terrain up and down the mountain. The bike can go 20 mph and has a range of 20- 30 miles. I hope to raise this money in the next month or two. The bike will be ready in 30 days once I pay the down payment. Thank you for you time and donations.

Thank You
