Urgent Help Needed After Tragic House Fire on Mother’s Day

On the evening of Mother’s Day, May 11th, 2025, while gathered with family for dinner, we received a devastating call—my grandmother’s house was on fire. We rushed over as fast as we could, but tragically, we were too late. We lost our beloved family dog, Shabba, in the fire. My grandmother and cousin Latrelle, who both lived in the home, lost everything.

The only thing we were able to recover from the ashes was my late grandfather’s remains.

Right now, we are asking for help—any amount—to get them back on their feet. They are in desperate need of:

    •    Clothes

    •    Basic essentials

    •    Furniture

    •    First and last month's rent for a new apartment

    •    Household items
