Help Mark Grumbine Senior recover after hospital.

Donation protected

Hi my name is Rachel and I am fundraising on behalf of the Grumbine family  for my father in law  and brother in law.  Mark, our Dad has been in the hospital for over a week due to a heart condition that causes his heart to AFib continuously, he's been on many medications and is unable to do normal everyday simple tasks. On top of that, he's on an extreme diet in which he is significantly limited on eating normal foods.  Greg, who had been in the hospital for a week in December has suffered greatly from COVID and is still dealing with the aftermath of it with his other ailments he has had. Both are highly unable to perform normal simple everyday functions, have limited diets, and taking various medications prescribed from their doctors, all while under the sole care of both Jan and Sam.  The family is in need for financial assistance  with medical expenses  and lack of work. They really need $30,000 to cover rent and food for six months until Mark can return to work.  Mark, Jan , Greg and Sam  could use the love and support from family and friends right now. We appreciate all the love and support for the Grumbine Family while going through this time of healing. God bless you for all you do.

update: Dad, Mark Grumbine Senior, slept through the night, and he does sleep propped up with pillows quite significantly, because of his cough and breathing. He is eating and standing up and walking a little more now. He is feeling better, so continued prayers for his strength and recovery is needed. Thank you again for your donations and prayers. God bless you!

Update: Today has been a good day. Dad (Grandpa) had no afib yesterday but possibly has had some today. However, he is progressing nicely with his energy. The surging (that makes him feel like he is drowning) that was happening from the Amidarone is only happening two to three times a day and it's very mild now. He is making sure to get up and do his 30 minutes of walking as well as trying to get his own meals so that he's moving around. He is noticing that his muscle tone has been greatly reduced and he is determined to reverse that. He's lost quite a bit of weight. When he came back from the hospital he had a nine pound weight loss and this past week he lost 13 pounds. We are upping his carbs to slow down the process. Thank you again for all your prayers, and love and support!

Grandpa Mark is a little better energy wise each day. He's in Afib so the pumping of the blood through out the body isn't so great. His thought processes are slower, his memory is hindered. Jan is very thankful for the heart medication to lower his heart rate, but the stress on the body from the toxicity is very real (He got bit by a brown recluse spider before hospital and residual effects from covid as well). He has a doctor appointment on Feb. 11th to find out what his next procedure will be.  Please Pray for Mark Grumbine Senior (Dad, Uncle, brother, Grandpa) for his heart to get back into rhythm consistently.  Greg got a cold on top of all his other symptoms (still on an oxygen tank) This is difficult for Jan (Mom, Grandma) to watch Greg be so miserable but he rarely complains and just endures. With Dad being more stable (takes care of his own pills, is starting to put away dishes and do little bits of laundry, this helps Jan(Mom, Grandma) lower her stress levels and get to sleep through the night which is huge for her.  The Mark and Jan Grumbine family wants to pass on that they are very grateful every day for God's grace and mercy he gives to our family!

Thank you for all your love and support. Dad, is feeling much better since having the doctors use the medical laser on his heart and brain. He got the stress test done and we are waiting to get the 24/7 heart monitoring done. Greg is finally seeing some improvement after 4 years and the family has hope that he will get his health back.
