Two days before Christmas, our family received heartbreaking news—my 94-year-old grandpa lost his car.
What makes this especially hard is that he still works. Grandpa has been proudly working at Sam’s Club in Northlake for over 17 years, and many of you may recognize him as the smiling face who truly loves being there. He loves his job so much that he dresses up for every holiday, always bringing smiles to customers and coworkers alike. Sam’s Club isn’t just a job to him—it’s his happy place, his routine, and where he feels purposeful and alive.
Unfortunately, we’re only receiving $350 for his car as it’s being junked, which isn’t nearly enough to replace it. We’re asking for help to raise enough funds to get him a simple, safe, reliable A-to-B car so he can continue doing what he loves and maintain his independence.
Any donation—big or small—means the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this means just as much. Let’s help get Grandpa back on the road and back to the place that brings him so much joy. ❤️
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
