Hi, my name is Norman, and many of you know me as Grandpa G.

For most of my life, my wife handled our finances and kept our home running. She was the strong one, the organized one, and the one who made sure everything stayed on track. Over time, she began suffering from strokes and dementia, and our lives changed in ways we never expected. I did my best to step in, but I was struggling too. Not long after, I suffered strokes myself, and my memory has not been the same since.

What once felt manageable quickly became overwhelming. Bills were missed, things fell behind, and before we knew it, we were facing foreclosure on the home we built our life in together.

My family has stepped in to help carry this burden, and they are doing everything they can to help me remain in my home. They have been advocating for me, making calls, organizing paperwork, and trying to create stability during a very difficult time.

We first started this fundraiser to help stop the foreclosure and reinstate the mortgage. Now, as we continue trying to recover, we are also facing medical-related expenses and urgent home repairs needed to keep me safe at home, including the roof, plumbing, and front door.
