Recently, our family’s apartment in Zagreb, was engulfed in a devastating fire that not only destroyed our home but left behind deep emotional and physical scars. The fire spread rapidly through the unit, causing extensive damage to several units. Tragically, our beloved uncle suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns while trying to escape and protect what he could.

In the chaos, two of our family’s cats passed away, and lost all of our family’s belongings and precious memories - photos, heirlooms, and furniture - were lost in the fire.

We are beyond grateful to the neighbours and emergency responders who helped save lives that night. But now, we are faced with a long road ahead.

We’re asking for your help - big or small - to get through this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will go directly to helping our family heal, recover, and rebuild.

We are seeking aid in raising funds to cover while the apartment is unlivable. Paying for our uncle’s medical care and burn recovery. Replacing essential furniture, appliances, and personal items.
