Unfortunately, a recent tragedy struck Grandma LaVerne's humble abode - her roof collapsed due to water damage and cheap insulation. This leaves her vulnerable and exposed to the harsh elements, threatening the very sanctuary where she has poured out so much love.

Meet Grandma LaVerne, a 77-year-old angel on Earth who has spent her life tirelessly cooking for the church community, feeding the homeless, and volunteering to be a caregiver for so many family, friends, and church members who are in need of home healthcare or transportation and assistance in errands. Her warm smile and delicious meals have nourished the hearts and souls of many, spreading love and joy wherever she goes.
Growing up on a farm, Grandma LaVerne's roots run deep with a strong spirit of resilience and perseverance. Despite the challenges she has faced, her dream has always been to move to Washington, DC and do whatever she can to help those in need. (Even if it means giving her last dime or giving the shirt off of her back.)

Now, it's our turn to rally around Grandma LaVerne and show her the same love and support she has given to others for so long. Let's come together as a community and help her rebuild her roof, creating a safe and warm home where she can continue her mission of spreading kindness and hope.
Your donation, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in Grandma LaVerne’s life. Together, we can make her dream of a secure home a reality and ensure that her selfless acts of love can continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who know her.

Let's show Grandma LaVerne that she is not alone - that we stand with her, just as she has stood by us. Your support means everything to her, and to all those whose lives she has touched with her kindness and generosity.
Join us in rebuilding Grandma LaVerne's roof and helping her create a safe haven where she can continue to cook with love for the church community she holds so dear. Together, we can make a difference in the life of a remarkable woman who has given so much to others. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
