My name is Brittany, my father & grandmother live in beautiful PEI Canada. On Thursday July 10 2025 they had a devastating fire occur. Thankfully they were able to escape in time but tragically 4 cats and a dog didn’t make it… My grandmother is 86 years old & has spent all her life taking care of stray animals in that home, raised her children there, and lost two husbands in that home. The memories that are held there are everything to her. She has been in shock ever since, going back to the house everyday waiting and hoping a cat will come out of the woods or she can find important things like my grandfather’s urn. Watching a lifetime of memories go up in flames in a matter of minutes is beyond heart breaking. I would like to raise money for her and my father so they can afford to rent out a home for them and the surviving cats and dog that made it out alive. Every dollar will be used to provide comfort to an 86 year old woman’s broken heart & supporting her to rebuild and allow her space to live for the time being.
