Help Graduate from University

Hello, my name is Miku Nagai. I am an international student from Japan. I am currently majoring in Computer Information Systems at Western Carolina University. I graduated from Merced College in California and transferred to Western Carolina University. At Merced College, I was awarded Superintendent's Honors and graduated with good grades and a GPA of 4.0. I have one year left until I graduate from Western Carolina University.

I am doing this fundraiser to continue my goal and pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems. I am currently a Junior at Western Carolina University with the goal of graduating in the Summer of 2024. I am confident that I will be able to graduate from this university with a degree in the remaining year. However, I have a lot of problems at the moment, and I'm in a situation where I don't have enough tuition fees until I graduate. If I cannot afford the tuition fee, I will have to give up on my goals and return to Japan.

I would like to explain the problem I am having. First of all, my grandmother, who had been supporting me in many ways, passed away. My grandmother helped me a lot when I decided to study abroad in America. She continued to cover my expenses related to studying abroad, such as tuition fees and living expenses. My mother is a single mother and I have a younger sister. My family was financially insecure. So my grandmother helped me out. However, she died suddenly. My grandmother raised me all through my childhood, she was my family, my best friend, and the hero I admired most in my life. But she passed away.

I was at the bottom of my life. But I always knew what she wanted most. She kept telling me, "No matter what happens, don't give up on your goals. My goal is for you to achieve your own dreams." In order to keep my promise to my grandmother and to achieve my goals, I returned to the United States and continued to perform well.

The second problem I have is that, unfortunately, life doesn't always go as planned. As you all know, the world economy is in a bad state and the depreciation of the yen is making things worse financially. I have a small scholarship and work part-time as a Japanese tutor, but I cannot cover the tuition fees for the entire semester. Due to the depreciation of the yen, my tuition fees and living expenses have become larger than I had planned, and at this rate, I will not be able to pay the tuition fees and living expenses for the remaining year until graduation. Since I am an international student, I am not eligible to receive FAFSA, the most common financial aid for students.

Due to these problems, I may not be able to achieve my goals and graduate from my current university, and I may have to return to Japan.

Lastly, I would like to write about my future goals. My goal is to contribute to society by working as a bridge between overseas and Japan, development, and the field of the life science industry.

I am majoring in Computer Information Systems, and I believe this major will be useful in various situations. Computer information systems use technology to solve business problems improve organizational processes, and dramatically increase business productivity and efficiency. It can also provide users with the information they need to perform their jobs efficiently.

Through studying abroad, I made many friends from the United States and other countries. Each person has different values, cultures, and ways of thinking. By communicating with many people, I realized the importance of diversity. To that end, I would like to make use of the knowledge and experience I have gained in computer information systems and the importance of diversity I learned while studying abroad, and think about what Japan and the world need in the future, and contribute to society.

If you can support me in any way, it will affect my life forever and I will never forget it and I will cherish the way you helped me in my life. And I will continue to contribute to the enrichment of society as you have done for me.

こんにちは、長井美紅です。 私は日本からの留学生です。 私は現在、ウェスタンカロライナ大学でコンピュータ情報システムを専攻しています。 私はカリフォルニアのマーセド大学を卒業し、ウェスタンカロライナ大学に編入しました。 マーセドカレッジでは教育長の栄誉を授与され、GPA 4.0 の良い成績で卒業しました。 ウェスタンカロライナ大学を卒業するまであと1年あります。

私は目標を継続し、コンピュータ情報システムの学位を取得するためにこの募金活動を行っています。 私は現在、ウェスタンカロライナ大学の 3 年生で、2024 年の夏に卒業する予定です。 しかし、現在は色々な問題があり、卒業するまで学費が足りない状況です。 学費が払えない場合は、目標を諦めて日本に帰国するしかありません。

私が抱えている問題について説明したいと思います。 まず、私を色々と支えてくれ、育ててくれた祖母が亡くなりました。 私がアメリカに留学することを決めたとき、祖母は私の学費や生活費などの留学にかかる費用を助けてくれました。私の母はシングルマザーで、私には妹がいます。 私の家族は経済的に不安定でした。 そのため祖母が私を助けてくれました。

しかし、祖母は突然亡くなってしまいました。 祖母は幼少期を通して私を育ててくれました。彼女は私の家族であり、親友であり、私が人生で最も尊敬するヒーローでした。 しかし、彼女は亡くなり、私は人生のどん底にいました。 しかし、私は彼女が何を一番望んでいるのかを常に知っていました。 彼女は私に「何があっても目標を諦めないで。私の目標はあなたが自分の夢を達成することです。」と言い続けました。 祖母との約束を守り、自分の目標を達成するために、私はアメリカに戻り勉強を続けました。

私が抱えている 2 つ目の問題は、残念なことに、人生は必ずしも計画どおりに進むわけではないということです。 皆さんもご存知のとおり、世界経済は悪化しており、円安により財政も悪化しています。 私には少額の奨学金があり、学校で日本語家庭教師のアルバイトをしていますが、学期全体の授業料を賄うことはできません。 日本から海外送金してもらっているため、円安の影響で学費や生活費の金額が大幅に足りなくなり、このままでは卒業までの残り1年間の学費や生活費が払えなくなります。これらの問題により目標を達成できず、金銭的な問題で現在の大学を卒業するのが困難な状況で、日本に帰国しなければならない可能性があります。

最後に私の今後の目標について書きたいと思います。私の目標は、ライフサイエンス業界のために海外と日本、開発と現場の架け橋になる仕事をして社会に貢献することです。

私は現在コンピュータ情報システムを専攻しており、この専攻がさまざまな場面で役立つと信じています。 コンピュータ情報システムは、テクノロジーを使用してビジネス上の問題を解決し、組織のプロセスを改善することに焦点を当てており、ビジネスの生産性と効率を劇的に向上させることができます。また、ユーザーが業務を効率的に実行するために必要な情報を提供できます。

私は留学を通じて、アメリカやさまざまな国から来た友達がたくさんできました。 人にはそれぞれ異なる価値観、文化、考え方があります。 多くの人とコミュニケーションをとることで、多様性の大切さを実感しました。 そのために、これまで学んだコンピュータ情報システムの知識や経験、留学で学んだダイバーシティの大切さを活かして、これからの日本、そして世界に何が必要なのかを考えて、 社会に貢献していきたいと思っています。
