Hello! My name is Gracyn Carnes, and I am a 14 year-old competitive horsewoman from Florida. I have been riding for four years and showing competitively for three, and this summer I am honored to be heading to the APHA World Championship Show in Texas with my incredible horse, Martha Stewart.

Martha is truly my gentle giant. We have been partnered since October of last year, and together we have worked tirelessly to reach this level. Our journey has not been easy . We’ve faced major challenges including moving homes, financial setbacks, injuries, and advancing into higher age divisions and tougher competition. Through it all, we never stopped showing up and putting in the work.

Competing at the APHA World Championship has been a dream of mine since I first fell in love with this beautiful sport. Every early morning, long haul, and setback has been worth it to chase this goal with my girl by my side.
