Life hasn’t been easy for Gracie and her mom, Rachael. Two years ago, Gracie’s father passed away, unexpectedly. Since then, she and her mom have faced one challenge after another. They have done their best to stay strong and optimistic through it all, but are currently battling serious medical issues.

Gracie is only 14 years old and has been suffering from seizures. A recent MRI found a growth in her optic chiasm as well. She needs further testing and medical care at Primary Children’s Hospital, on top of already mounting medical bills.

Rachael has been battling her own serious health issues, on top of caring for her daughter. She requires regular medical treatments through a port. Doctors are currently investigating potential kidney disease and leukemia. With an increasing number of health issues, it’s been hard for Rachael to provide for Gracie and give her daughter the life she hopes for her. There are times she has had to choose between paying for medication or putting food on the table.

Rachael and Gracie are incredible, loving people! Gracie is a bright and caring girl. She would love to learn karate and a new language, but right now that has been on hold. We are hoping to alleviate some of their stressors and help them head toward the direction of better health.
