Gracie is the most loyal, loving, and strongest chiweenie, who has been an important part of our lives. I still remember the day when we rescued her from a family who did not want her, and we openly took her within our arms. It’s been 13 years since that day, and we could not imagine a day without her presence. We love Gracie so much; she has been an important member of our family and has changed all our lives in so many ways.
Unfortunately, Gracie has been developing this mass on her little head, and it has been growing substantially in the past 2 years. Due to medical procedures being extremely expensive, and many vets saying it is too great of a surgery due to her age, we have decided to take the chance and get the operation for Gracie. The surgery comes with many risks, but we want to take the chance and make a change in her life, just like how she made a change in all of ours.
If left untreated, the mass will keep growing and continue affecting her everyday life. We are raising the money to help pay for her medical expenses, which cost up to $4,000. This is due to all the tests she will undergo to determine whether she is fit for the surgery and if her heart can handle it, as well as removing the mass and determining whether it is cancerous or not.
She is 13 years old, but she still has so much fight in her that we know she will surpass this battle, and we will be there right beside her as she does.
