Two weeks ago, our sweet dog Gracie was attacked by a much larger dog. The incident left her with 17 puncture wounds, and she needed six drains to help her heal. Gracie has always been a loving, expressive, and enthusiastic friend, and seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking for our family. We’ve had her since she was a puppy, and at just four years old, she means the world to us.

Despite her strength and resilience, Gracie’s recovery has been challenging. She’s already undergone two surgeries to treat her wounds, but complications have arisen—one wound became infected due to necrotic tissue, requiring even more intensive care. Over the next month, Gracie will need ongoing wound care, additional surgeries, and a steady supply of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain medications to support her healing journey.
