Hello, my name is Gracie and I am fundraising for the opportunity to take part in a truly life-changing, four-week Camps International Expedition to Ecuador in the summer of 2026!

This trip is far more than a school holiday—it is a demanding expedition where I will be working directly with local communities and contributing to critical conservation programmes in the Andes and the Amazon rainforest. This is a chance for me to step out of my comfort zone, become a global citizen, and apply myself to real-world challenges.

My Commitment: Effort and Impact

I have committed to this expedition because I want to make a tangible, positive difference. My team and I will be living and working alongside local people on vital projects that address their most pressing needs. This work will include:

Building Community Infrastructure: Helping to construct or renovate essential buildings like local schools, libraries, or community kitchens to improve education and welfare for local children.

Environmental Conservation: Participating in hands-on reforestation efforts in the Amazon to plant indigenous trees and combat deforestation.

Personal Challenge: I will also be completing a difficult, multi-day trek in the high-altitude Andes mountains, pushing my fitness and mental limits.

I am working hard and dedicating time now to train and prepare for the physical and emotional demands of this journey!
