Hello! My name is Tracy Phillips. Surrounding areas of where I live were devastated by flooding. While my family, home, and belongings are fine, my best friend, Nicole's kids, were not. Graci & Waylon were renting a small house together in Fairmont, WV to save money with the hope of accumulating items for their future housing plans. Everything they've worked for to start their lives was stored in the basement of the home they were renting.

The hard rain was too much, too fast, and flooded their basement. To make matters worse, the house has now been CONDEMNED! The foundation was washed away and the house is not stable. It will be a long time before it can be fixed (or torn down and rebuilt). They had to leave their home, lost all they have worked for, and are starting over.

Any donation received will go towards housing: packing up what's salvageable, renting a storage unit, first month's rent, last month's rent, and any incidental that comes up.

I'm not one to ask for help and neither is my best friend (or her kids), but it breaks my heart to see her kids just starting out in life and already dealt this blow.
