For as long as I can remember, my family has been deeply involved in mission work, serving communities and making a difference wherever they go. Until now, I was always too young to join them, but this year, for the first time since COVID, I finally have the opportunity to participate alongside them. This mission trip means so much to me—not only because I get to share the experience with my family, but also because it allows me to live out my passion for helping others and being a lighthouse for the lost. Mission work is so important as we are the earthly saviors that show up to do Gods work. Please help me and my family to continue this life long journey of mission work. Mission Serve focuses on community transformation through home repair and renovation, disaster relief, and discipleship. Volunteers help low-income or displaced residents secure safe, stable housing, assist with rebuilds and clean-ups from natural disasters, and lead ministry projects like Vacation Bible School and community outreach events. I’ve worked food drives and soup kitchens before, but this trip is different. I’ll be leaving home for about eight days, dedicating my time and energy to serving the Lord and those in need.
