On April 30th of this year, Milagros "Grace" Patterson found herself picking her things up from a flooded home. Massive amounts of rain falling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas breached her rented home's walls and ruined many of her belongings. Unfortunately, due to this being a "non-named" storm and an "existing flooding issue" with the home's foundation, her insurance claim was denied.

This event forced her to have to move in a quick fashion, greatly increasing her month-to-month cost of living.

Grace is a former member of the Department of Defense, proudly supporting our troops, devoted mother, and wonderful human being.
