Help Grace Pay for Medical Care

Hi everyone,

As many of you may know, Grace has been struggling with chronic illness increasingly over the past few years. It has gotten to a significantly disabling point where Grace is unable to work full-time and is also unable to currently receive disability income. Grace has been to countless specialists and gotten extensive imaging and testing done to try to figure out what's going on. Right now, some of her diagnoses are POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), and IBS. The good news? None of these conditions are inherently life-threatening, and all of them can be managed through various treatments. The bad news? None are curable, and they will all likely require some degree of medical treatment for the rest of her life.

Which brings me to where we need your help. Even with "decent" health insurance, our medical debt is rising with no end in sight. Between testing, regular doctors appointments, and ongoing treatments such as weekly physical therapy (the mainstay treatment for hEDS), Grace has amassed over $4,500 in medical debt. While we make every attempt to pay this off, this is virtually impossible with new appointments every week and one salary to sustain our little family.

Any donation, big or small, helps Grace continue to receive the medical care she needs for a good quality of life - something we all should have the right to.
