Help Grace Overcome Medical and Housing Crisis

Hello to each and everyone of you who has taken a moment of your time to read thus far. My name is Sarah, and I’m here helping a small, well known, but more, well deserving couple of people get back on there feet and get the proper medical help needed to overcome this unforeseen, unfortunate incident. Grace has dedicated over 20 years as everyone’s favorite and friendly delivery driver for Godfathers Pizza in Ketchikan Alaska. Today, we are asking for help with the financial burdens that have been sprung upon these two leaving them homeless, helpless and heartbroken.
One day just like any day sometime during the end of March 2025 lunchtime struck the hungry stomachs of the pizza lovers of Ketchikan. Godfathers phone is ringing off the hook, which Grace also answered quite frequently to ask you what your wishes and desires of her were. Then not only did Grace take part into hand making that delicious pizza pie with love, she was also the one behind the wheel who delivered it to you! Rain or shine, traffic or not, having a good day or a bad one (most didn’t care to ask) but she still had your pizza pie to you in a timely fashion, hot and cheesy, with a smile on her face to boot.
Grace loved her job and she loved bringing happiness in form of pizza to everyone until one day it was raining a little too hard and the stairs she has to climb on a delivery were a bit too slippery for her to safely overcome and she fell, leaving her with a fractured hip and medical insurance that shockingly couldn’t help her. Being down and out, Grace also has been diagnosed with early onset stages of cancer into which she needs to start tackling right away. To her dismay she was ALSO denied medical coverage to help with the treatment she needs to kick cancer right in the kisser! As If this poor woman and her husband weren’t dealing with enough stress, they found themselves looking at an eviction notice from being unable to pay rent due to being out of a job from being unable to walk. They now have no roof over their heads, no help from any insurance companies (for whatever the reason), and are losing hope as the days go by.
Ketchikan, here’s where being a small (everyone knowing everyone) town that’s full of big hearts and generosity comes into play. Anything helps and if you cannot afford to donate simple words of encouragement and support are greatly appreciated as it would at the very least help lift there spirits in these trying times.
