Help Grace Fight Cancer

Grace and her family need our help. For those of you who don’t know, Grace was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in July of 2022. The seemingly healthy 38-year-old began to experience severe stomach pains during a beach vacation and ended up in the emergency room where doctors discovered spots on her liver and lungs, as well as a mass in her colon.

She has been nothing but brave and full of fight since then, working and doing bi-weekly chemo treatments with the support of countless friends and family. But there have been major physical, emotional, and financial setbacks as well.

Grace’s husband, Alex, works as a video editor. His industry, film and television, has been hit hard by the pandemic, followed by dual strikes, and now a suffocating contraction. Now her cancer has turned symptomatic again, and she is being placed on a higher amount of chemotherapy, which is impacting her overall health and abilities.

As a result, Grace is taking time away from work to invest more energy in healing and seeking out alternative treatments. Our goal is to alleviate further financial burdens for the summer.

We know it’s a hard time to ask, but hard times are when you ask your friends and family for help. And it’s when, if you’re able, you answer. It’s been a long and difficult road for this family. We’re hoping that this can help make it easier and lessen the burden of trying to swim to the surface, let alone stay above water.
