At the conclusion of 2021's school year Grace will have attained straight A's for three years running. Her hard work and dedication have afforded her an opportunity. After being recommended by the local school district's STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program Grace has been recognized by the National Youth Leadership Forum by being invited to take part in their EXPLORE STEM Program.
The EXPLORE STEM Program is hosted this summer at colleges all over the nation. With the nearest being Philadelphia, PA. This is a great opportunity to learn from leading scientists in various fields as well as gain hands on and practical experience with new and advanced technology with teams of her peers.
Though everything we can do will be done to take advantage of this opportunity, with Grace applying for scholarships and finding small jobs to help, we recognize that this is beyond our means to do alone. We're asking for you to invest in our community and this young lady's future.
