We are creating this GoFundMe for Grace and her family after a scary house fire that happened in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.

Around 2:00am on January 15th, Grace's brother-in-law came home from the gym and noticed flames coming from the back of the house. Everyone inside was asleep. He immediately woke everyone up, and thankfully they all made it out safely.

They’ve since learned the fire started due to an electrical issue with the bathroom fan. The fire damage affected the entire bathroom, as well as part of the kitchen and a bedroom beside the bathroom.

Right now, their home isn’t safe to live in while repairs are assessed and completed. They’re doing everything they can to move forward, but being suddenly displaced comes with a lot of unexpected costs.

This fundraiser is to help cover living expenses while they wait for repairs, including:

• temporary accommodations

• food and basic necessities

• clothing and household essentials

• transportation and other urgent costs
