Help GPop Tackle Stroke Rehab

Donation protected
It takes a village for all of us to achieve, strive and sometimes even just get through everyday.  An active member of our "village" needs us now more than ever.

David "GPop" Curran suffered a debilitating stroke on Sunday, April 14th leaving him without feeling, movement and vision on the left side of his body. After spending sometime in the hospital GPop was released to a rehabilitation center in Middletown, DE on April 24th.

Due to limited insurance coverage and long term need; GPop's stay at the rehab center is undetermined.  His family will do what they can to help him with recovery but they are of limited resource to help complete his current medical needs.  Once released he will be cared for at home by his family but he has a long road to even achieve partial recovery ahead of him.  GPop is in need of specialized equipment, intensive rehab and daily medical care.    We are asking any friends, family, friends of friends, and our community to help.

As you know GPop has always been the man standing tall (sometimes the tallest one around) but his height is unparalleled to the size of his heart.  GPop has been a strong presence in our M.O.T. community and youth organizations over the past 7 years.  You could always count on him to  be there to help in any way possible.  He was always active and eager to coach a team, set up fields, clean up after events, volunteering for all types of sporting events, provide wisdom, a laugh and an overall positive role model for this grandsons and all youth athletes in our area.

Any donation, no matter the size will be used to off set medical expenses, provide needed equipment and therapy to a humble man that deserves the world (which he would never ask for)   GPop is a very humble man with a heart of gold and a laugh that can light up a room.  Please help us to provide him with this much needed medical assistance.

We will keep everyone posted on his road to recovery.  Thank you for all the prayers and kind words.  We hope that GPop will be able to smile ear to ear and thank each of you himself one day, but for now know we are eternally grateful for each of you.

Hug your love ones today, tonight and tomorrow because as we have personally learned, it all can change in a moment.

Thank you,
Friends of Gpop and the Curran Family
