Help Gownus tenants recover from holiday fire

On December 21st, a fire broke out in a residential building in Gowanus, spreading rapidly, and very quickly becoming a 3-alarm blaze that took 120 firefighters on-scene to control and extinguish. While it is a miracle that no one was hurt, many of the families in these buildings were left with no residence, very few personal belongings, and a long road to rebuilding their lives. We are raising money to help the residents of one of the buildings with all of the expenses they will incur in the next few months--clothing, food, housing, and so much more. Whatever you can spare will be very much appreciated. This GoFundMe is being organized by the coworkers of one of the tenants, and the funds will be sent to that tenant to be split amongst the residents of the building.
