As many of you know, I was diagnosed with epilepsy nearly a year and a half ago. Since then, a lot of my life has been turned upside-down. The seizures and meds have difficult effects, but I can't do anything about them.
But one thing that really makes things hard is that I can't legally drive until I haven't had an unaware seizure for 12 months. My next surgery is in late June. After that, it will still be a while before my one year countdown starts.
Being the person you all know I am, I've found a loophole to the legal issue. E-bikes don't require a license to drive. An e-bike would give me back so much of the independence that I've lost. I could get to and from Stewart's, Adams, Starbucks, and - mostly importantly - my second home, the DOJO.
