Hi, my name is Gouda. I just turned 3 years old this past May, along with my brother, Ham. I’m the sweetest orange kitty you’ll ever meet. I love to snuggle, watch the birds outside, and of course…eat. Recently, I always feel like I’m starving and never feel full. I meow a lot because I’m not feeling good. It hurts when I try to go to the bathroom and nothing really comes out. I’ve been hissing at my brother because I feel irritable. He is sad that we don’t play much anymore. My coat has gotten greasy because I feel too sick to clean it.
The vet said I’ve lost 6lbs in the last 9 months, even though my mom has been feeding me like crazy.
Finally, mom took me to the hospital where I had to stay overnight for 2 days. It was horrible. At least I was surrounded by other kitties and the nurse made sure to give me a kiss on the head, because mom knows I love that.
After thousands of dollars worth of tests, along with treatment & maybe even more needed, the doctors discovered I most likely have a congenital parasite in my brain they cannot locate. It’s allowing toxins to flow all throughout my body & brain, which keeps me from absorbing the nutrients I need. It’s causing me to be reckless & feel dizzy. This is why I always feel like I’m starving, but am losing severe weight. It also caused a buildup of crystals in my bladder which really hurts my belly.
Hopefully this treatment can work so I can have many more years ahead of me with my mom & brother.
My mom loves me so much. I don’t know much about money. All I know is she wants me to feel better and have a happy, healthy life. I’m hoping this treatment works and I will be all better! I’m still a young boy and this is worth it for me long term.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank all you fellow felines in advance for your kind donation. Anything can help.
With so much Love, Gouda
