Update! Hello All!! Thank you for following me on this journey so far!! The good news is I finally have a vehicle to get me to TX. The bad news is I do not have near enough money for GAS to get me there. Forget lodging. I will likely be sleeping in the van along the way to conserve money.

Hello, my name is Goth Kitty Jen and I have lived in the Bay Area my whole adult life. I have been having a really hard time for years now and I have finally reached my breaking point.

I love my friends and chosen family here in the Bay but I desperately need a fresh start.

A close friend has been kind enough to offer me a room in his beautiful house in Austin, Texas while I get back on my feet and rehab my mental and physical health.

I am currently unemployed and I am struggling with multiple physical and mental disabilities that prevent me from working consistently at this time.

My goal is to be able to raise enough money to: 

1.) Afford Food/ Gas / Motels along the way.

2.) Rent a POD for the move. They provide you with a shipping container you pack yourself then they ship it to your location for you to unload at your own pace.
